The Louis V. Gerstner III Center for Students and Families, located on the Kolbe Cathedral Preparatory School campus in Bridgeport, CT, underwent a transformative renovation, officially reopening in October 2024. The center was the vision of the Kolbe High School Board and Diocese of Bridgeport, and now features state-of-the-art facilities, including classrooms, a fitness center, an art room, and spaces for critical programs like the Student Success Center and the St. Joseph Parenting Center. The challenge was bringing back life to Kolbe’s annex 1920s classroom to a home with enhancements aimed to support students and families, fostering academic success and holistic development.
