Milford Hospital hired Bismark as Construction Manager from design development through Department of Public Health (DPH) approval for its new 15,000 sf rehabilitation and wellness center. This project entailed the demolition of an existing patient care unit, removal of hazardous materials, and construction of 21 new patient rooms with bathrooms, showers, med room, labs, waiting areas, staff rooms, work rooms, doctor’s offices and a new rehab gym.

The plan required us to incorporate new foundations and structural members to remove load-bearing walls. To make the gym possible, Bismark also managed the creation of a new space to relocate the hospital’s medical records.

Interior work at a medical facility requires the highest standard working environment to complete a task. Our team was able to self-perform critical work to secure costs while maintaining a safe environment for this functioning hospital.
